Expansion Brewers Go Public
Familair Faces To Fill Roster
Nashville TN
Following months of rumors and speculation, it was announced today that an Expansion Franchise in the Middle TN Adult Baseball League has been granted to the newly named Brewers.
A visibly shaken Team Owner Jon Rotker struggled to maintain his composure when first told that his $12.87 bid for a franchise in the league had been approved by a nearly unanimous vote of team owners. "This is a dream come true" Rotker then said as he addressed a throng of reporters gathered at a local Nashville Krispy Kreme Doughnut Shop.
When asked why he thought the final expansion vote was 4 in favor and 1 opposed, Rotker broke into song with a short rendition of "That's what friends are for." Bystanders where at first confused by Rotkers lyrics until it was pointed out that the sole dissenting vote had come from his former team the Knights.
"I had some good times as a Knight, but I'm also looking forward to a fresh start as a Brewer." "In my capacity as Team Owner, President and Coach, I look forward to doing whatever I want, whenever I want"
Along with Rotker, it has also been learned that several other former Knights have joined the Brewers for their inaugural season. When asked for comment Rotker would only say that he had been in discussions with several players and looked forward to announcing his team roster soon.
As Winter now turns to Spring and a boys fancies turn to baseball, it can only be a matter of time before we hear that famous toast........
Cheers to the Brewers!

the key moment was when dynamic catcher/offensive force Brian Overton agreed to waive his veteran veto powers and agreed to a trade from the Knights.
